Abstract

Objective: To observe efficacy of pyonex in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD) with mild to moderate depression. Methods: 64 FD patients with mild to moderate depression were randomly divided into control group (N=32) and test group (N=32). The test group was given mosapride combined with pyonex, acupuncture at Neiguan, Shenmen, Zusanli and Taichong, and the control group was given mosapride combined with sertraline. The course of treatment was 4 weeks in both groups. The changes of LDQ and HAMD scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and the safety and efficacy were evaluated. Results: ① LDQ scores: The total efficacy of the test group was 87.5%, and that of the control group was 81.3% after treatment. The curative effect of the test group was similar to that of the control group (P>0.05).
