A remark on energy balance of the Navier–Stokes equations

In this short note, we provide a self-contained proof for the criterion $\nabla u\in L^\frac{5}{2}(0, T; L^2(\mathbb{R}^3))$ to Navier–Stokes equations energy balance, which improves some recent results on this problem.
