Adrenal crisis precipitated by influenza A led to the diagnosis of Sheehan's syndrome 18 years after postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract Physicians must recognize and treat adrenal crisis that may occur with acute viral illnesses such as influenza in women with Sheehan’s syndrome that has been undiagnosed and hence untreated, sometimes for many years, after postpartum hemorrhage.
