Abstract

The toxic epidermal necrolysis is an accute cutaneus reaction associated with a high morbidity and mortality rate. The current classification of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis depends on the percent of total corporal surface affected. There are presented two cases treated with sulfaprim as previous antibiotic before the admission because of different causes. In both patients was observed a development of mucosa-cutaneus manifestations, which permitted to establish the diagnostics; moreover, we knew the unchain possible factors and most frecuent presented complications. These syndromes are innovatives and have a low incidence in the medical practice, which motivated us to carry out this report.
