Abstract

International and internal armed conflicts cause significant damage to persons in armed conflict, whether civilians or military. International humanitarian law aims at protecting those persons and minimizing the damage they may suffer as a result of the armed conflict. International humanitarian law has many means Either through the parties to the conflict themselves or through neutral states or through the International Committee of the Red Cross, which is described as guardian of international humanitarian law, which plays a vital role in times of armed conflict or even after the end of conflict, You have a purely humanitarian purpose away from religious and political considerations and from the pressures of the conflicting countries
