- Abstract Growing evidence suggests an association between osteocalcin (OCN), a peptide derived from bone and involved in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, and the risk of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). However, the causality of these associations and the underlying mechanisms remain uncertain.
