Aplicaciones lexicográficas de un corpus de discurso turístico: contextos de uso y definiciones

This paper proposes, as a starting point, to elaborate a corpus of touristic discourse extracted from a database designed for that purpose. In a further stage, an analysis will be carried out, in order to study the usage and contextualization of terms related to bedroom typologies in hotel web sites, and whether they adapt or not to their definition in current tourism dictionaries and ISO hotel regulations. This methodology allows to design and make hotel promotion glossaries that include the different meaning shades and usage remarks useful and adequate to the glossaries’ final users. The analysis of usage contexts is thus a determining element when constructing definitions.
