Sensor system for determining the risk of track distortion in the continuous welded rail

The article considers the peculiarities of load formation in the continuous welded railroad tracks depending on temperature factors, geometric parameters and local curvature. The approach is proposed to determine the risk of distortion of the railway track depending on a combination of force and geometric factors on the ability of the ballast to keep the rail sleepers from moving laterally in relation to the direction of the track.
