Prácticas de consumo electrónico: los lectores ante los nuevos soportes

Given these variables, from the Research Group E-Lectra, University of Salamanca, we proceeded to analyze the phenomenon of digital reading through a survey conducted in May 2012. Launched via various social networks and specialized Facebook groups. The survey was answered by 489 individuals, so that the estimation error for the total sample, a 95.44% confidence, the result of the survey E-Lectra is very close to other studies such as the one developed by Pew Research Center. One of the most significant aspects of the survey is the user's relationship with the device and with the basic machine-readable. When asked users of e-reader or tablet if you read paper books still the response is overwhelming. 90% read the paper, and read on their devices. All factor analyzes conducted suggest two dimensions in the assessment that respondents made ​​when expressing why they like to read on their devices, and and generally the first dimension is characterized by items related to the usability offered by devices and the second on the physical aspects of comfort and mobility.
