Abstract

Objectives: Determinat how the popular librarys of the Department of San Jerónimo boarded the digital divide through the pandemic between the years 2020 and 2021. Review the impact of them in each community. Value the image each locations to study has of the librarys and analyze the popular perception towards the librarian. Methodology: Based on interviews carried out with the Popular Libraries, surveys were created aimed at both actual and potential users of the studied localities. Results: It was determined how the libraries approached the pandemic, with not very noticeable results, but mostly favorable numbers were presented in terms of popular opinions. Conclusion: It was determined that libraries occupy an important place in the popular imagination, but they do not use them. Even more work must be done to insert them into the daily life of the community.
