Abstract

The United States has awarded numerous support contracts to construction and engineering firms as ground fighting intensifies in Iraq. The article discusses various contracts including Kellogg Brown & Root's deal with the Corps of Engineers to handle oil well fires and rebuild damaged petroleum infrastructure.
