Abstract
- This article analyzes the Conservative Party's 2000 election run in Canada. The authors, maintaining in 1993 the party suffered its worse defeat in its history and was facing virtual collapse, argue the political debates surrounding the 2000 election saved the party from total collapse in that its leader, Joe Clark, was able to capture approval ratings from the public.
