Abstract

Research has been conducted on genome sequence of cold-adapted Archaea Methanogenium frigidum and Methanococcoides burtonii. The authors describe the generation of draft genome sequence of these bacteria carried out to identify genotypic characteristics distinguishing them from Archaea with a higher optimal growth temperatures.
