Termobahia GT24 plant: helping Brazil reduce its reliance on rain; there's an awful lot of hydro Brazil. But this creates problems at times of low rainfall. The gas-fired Termobahia combined cycle cogeneration plant, which uses a GT24 gas turbine, is part of Brazil's efforts to reduce its overdependence on water power.
