Abstract: A single-blind, placebo controlled study to examine the effects of torcetrapid, on plasma lipoprotein levels in subjects with low levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol was conducted. The distribution among HDL and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) was found to be altered by torcetrapid.
