World customs body urges strict, uniform security

Representing customs agencies from around the world, The World Customs Organization calls for uniform cargo regulations similar to those the U.S. put in place after the 9/11 attacks, in light of increased terrorism threats to shipping. The members of this organization must decide whether to adopt the International Port Facility and Security Code introduced in Brussels last week.
