Abstract
- A few mononuclear iron (III) complexes of tetradentate tripodal and linear bis(phenolate) ligands with N2O2 donor sets are isolated and studied as functional models for catechol 1,2- dioxygenases. The complexes [Fe(L1)Cl], [Fe(L2)(H2O)Cl] , [Fe(L3)Cl] and [Fe(L4)(H2O)Cl] are characterized using absorption spectral and electrochemical techniques.
