Muscle pain in athletes with locomotor disability

An investigation regarding the Sport-Related Muscle Pain (SRMP) in athletes, with a locomotor disability reveals that, with the increased training volume, the prevalence rate of SRMP also increases. Further, the importance of a strict collaboration among physicians, coaches, and physical trainers for the well-being and the performance of the athlete are highlighted.
