Abstract

We describe a radiation-tolerant controller used to control switched-capacitor arrays. The controller has been developed for the liquid argon calorimeter of the ATLAS detector. Radiation tolerance has been achieved by applying layout, circuit, and system mitigation techniques to a commercial 0.25 [micro]m complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology.
