Abstract: The three-dimensional structure of the N-terminal domain of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus (CoV) nucleocapsid protein is presented. By using a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, the low molecular weight compounds that bind to the RNA-binding face of the protein is discussed.
