Mental health care in Netherlands: community care with or without hospitals

Abstract: A national survey in Netherlands reveals that every year, 520,000 people had contact with mental health services mostly because of depression, anxiety or alcohol related problems. In Netherlands, the patients are given longer hospital based care, which reduces the level of readmission of patients.
