Abstract

Probiotic intestinal bacteria have always had positive benefits to the host assisting colonization and study investigated the colonization potential of lactobacillus casei in mouse intestine. It was found that the bacilli would have to achieve doubling time of around two days to colonize different sections of the mouse intestinal tract.
