Abstract
- A frequency selective demultiplexer that is realized by the directly resonant tunneling between waveguides and point defects in a two-dimensional photonic crystal is discussed. It is seen that the demultiplexing efficiency is very high when the point defects are symmetrically arranged at both sides of the central line of the inlet waveguide.
