Abstract

The key to mastering pricing power is in managing five elements, which are customer targeting, customer understanding, offering design, value communication and negotiation. Definitions of each of the five critical steps including poor customer targeting, poor value communication and poor offering design, on the value-pricing map that would to retain pricing power are presented.
