Abstract: Concentration of the salts and the charge of metal ion on swelling behavior, composition and structure of the gels poly (PAMPS) salts in aqueous medium are studied. The existence of the reentrant conformational transition in the anionic PAMPS gel is due to the increase of concentration of trivalent metal cations in the solutions.
