Abstract
- The possibility to generate noise-induced directed quantum currents in periodic structures of minimal complexity namely, the rectification of quantum noise in periodic tight binding lattices is discussed. The combined use of dissipation and nonequilibrium, asymmetric driving forces was used to obtain a finite directed current.
