Abstract
- Resonance Raman spectroscopic techniques and quinone staining are used to identify and study the biogenesis of hydroypropylphosphonic acid epoxidase (HppE). It is found that HppE can act as an oxygenase through a putative high valent iron-oxo or an iron-hydroperoxo intermediate.
