Abstract

A study to show that the recombinant expression of the protein in functional form can be greatly enhanced by coexpression of genes from the isc operon, which are required for the assembly of iron-sulfur clusters, is presented. The EPR experiments as well as optical absorbance show the presence of [3Fe-4S]+ cluster in IspH protein.
