Abstract

Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM), in combination with electrode platform micropatterning, is used for qualitative characterization of molecular sieving and exceptionally precise quantitative measurement of molecular permeation through thin films of meso- and microporous materials composed of porphyrinic 'molecular squares'.
