Abstract

Dinuclear copper(II) complexes with N-substituted ligands as superoxide dismutase (SOD) mimics are investigated. The new N-(thiazol-2-yl)toluenesulfonamide (Htz-tol) and N-(thiazol-2-yl)toluenesulfonamide (Htz-tol) and N-(thiazol-2-yl)naphthalene-sulfonamide (Htz-naf) ligands are prepared and structurally characterized.
