Effects of laser fluence, size, and shape of the laser focal spot in pulsed laser deposition using a multielemental target

The two-dimensional spatial distribution of the composition of the deposit was experimentally studied and analyzed by using the sorption approach. Results show a good agreement between the experimental and sorption analysis, and suggest a determining role of the plume-substrate interaction in the deposition process.
