- The various factors responsible for the slow-down of air transport industry, such as low demand, changing business environment, airline uncertainties, are determined. The plans of certain companies in terms of considering the adoption of regional jet (RJ) as an essential part of their effort to cut costs are described while revealing their concern regarding the affordability of RJ acquisition plans
