Abstract

A case study of a factory in Israel undergoing organizational decline is presented. Organizational decline may result from prolonged job insecurities. When management-employee relationships worsen, workers begin to experience an increased sense of anxiety and insecurity, resulting in low levels of commitment and morale. Occupational social workers placed in an organization in crisis have difficulty improving group interactions between high-level management and their employees.
