Abstract
- A model is developed to treat the rotational energy levels of the OH-water complex with effective C (sub 2nu) symmetry that accounts for the difference potential (rho) which is responsible for quenching of the OH orbital angular momentum, and the spin-orbit interaction of the OH monomer. The changes in the rotational energy level structure are manifested in the microwave and infrared spectra of the OH-water complex.
