Abstract
- Currently there are approximately 58 commercial Channel 6 facilities in the US. Non-commercial FM stations must 'protect' these facilities from interference through the use of a vertical only antenna. This could be avoided by co-locating with the TV facilities thus broadcasting from the same antenna. TV facilities could generate significant capital by allowing FM broadcasters, commercial and non-commercial, to multiplex onto their current antenna system.
