Abstract
- A study determines whether Internet-based continuing medical education (CME) could produce changes comparable to those produced through live, small-group, interactive CME with respect to physician knowledge and behaviors that have an impact on patient care. Results reveal that evidence-based online CME could produce objectively measured changes in behavior as well as sustained gains in knowledge comparable or superior to those produced from effective live activities.
