Abstract

The interpretive approach to political science that criticizes the science is opposed by suggesting that criticisms rest on both misconceptions and misplaced beliefs. The misconceptions about interpretive approach are that it focuses on beliefs or discourses, ignores concepts of social structure, and is incapable of producing policy-relevant knowledge.
