Tasty outlook

U.S. investors are starting to show an interest in asset-rich Nestle, due to the strength of its global food business, an increasingly shareholder-oriented management and the huge combined value of its stakes in Alcon and LEOreal. NestleEs U.S.-listed shares rose 9% in the period up to September 2005, but are likely to have a significant upside, as the Swiss giant is a bargain compared to other major food companies.
