At Vina Los Vascos: Baron Eric de Rothschild' colonial-style vineyard residence in Chile

Baron Eric de Rothschild, who oversees the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (DBR), purchased an estate in Peralillo, Chile, called Vina Los Vascos in 1988. The estate included an almost 550-acre vineyard, with additional 840 acres of vine plantation where finer methods of growing and winemaking were introduced to produce a cabernet sauvignon acceptable to the American and European palette.
