Raytheon demonstrates netted battlefield

Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, Arizona, has demonstrated the ability to create a coherent network by linking existing precision weapons and targeting systems to identify and engage time-sensitive targets from a variety of platforms. The demonstration marked the first time that targeting information was passed from a Tomahawk Block IV cruise missile to a Maverick Lock On After Launch (LOAL).
