Abstract
- The usefulness of intervalence-resonant Raman spectroscopy in exploring the localized-to-delocalized transition in mixed-valence chemistry is demonstrated. The results presented give evidence for vibronic coupling of totally symmetric bridging vibrations of pyrazine to the 'intervalence' charge transfer that confirms a near-delocalized description for the mixed-valence cluster dimer.
