Abstract

Uncoated and coated groundwood paper manufacturers are experiencing a growth in demand from end users. Industry observers believe that recession-related pricing woes and declining demand will undergo a reversal starting 1993. Coated paper producers disclosed that an average 7% price hike in coated groundwood papers will be implemented in the spot market in May and Jun 1993.
