Abstract
- The positions of 4 micrometer bright spots in the polar region of Jupiter are presented. Observations were made by the protocam at the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility. Results also indicate isolated bright spots especially at the South Pole. A model of limb brightening was constructed and it confirms that the bright spots are truly isolated. Bright spots are correlated to theoretical magnetic field lines with no significant result.
