Terminologia Anatomica versus unofficial descriptions and nomenclature of the fasciae and ligaments of the female pelvis: A dissection-based comparative study

The organization of connective tissue in the female pelvis is investigated the results are compared with the official nomenclature and descriptions furnished by the Terminologia Anatomica and those reported in the most widely diffused English and non-English literature. Results suggest that the official terminology applied to the connective structures of the female pelvis could be profitably revised and expanded.
