Abstract

A study on 50 subjects with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and 50 uninjured subjects hinted at a higher danger of ACL injury for people with hyperpronation of the foot and ankle complex. The navicular drop test was utilized to ascertain their hyperpronation, but further research may be neededin light of recent trends involving evaluation of abnormal biomechanics in rehabilitating lower extremity pathologies. The investigations generated biomechanic information which could provide athletes with valuable knowledge needed in injury prevention.
