Abstract: The successful fabrication of superconductor-insulator-superconductor trilayered films has been realized. This was shown by measurements of the multilayered films's ground plane isolation, superconducting and dielectric characteristics, microwave surface resistance and morphology of each layer. The trilayers contained YBa2Cu3O(7-x) as the superconductors and used either CeO2 or SrTTiO3 as the insulating layer.
