Synthesis and characterization of silver(I) coordination networks bearing flexible thioethers: Anion versus ligand dominated structures

The structure of 11 complexes of silver(I) salts and bis(phenylthio)alkanes are reported. Only two exceptions, all complexes form 2-dimensional-coordination networks and a 1D-coordination polymer is formed with the trifluorosulfonate ligand while a 3D-coordination network is observed with triluoroacetate when water molecules bind adjacent layers.
