The greening of Canada

Canada's Green Plan has an increasing number of non-statutory co-ordination plans, including countryside strategies and coastal frameworks. The plans include improved legislation, scientific research and public information, however, many of the resources available to the plan have diminished due to the economic recession. Its pollution legislature has only been marginally strengthened and some departments have failed to treat it as a priority issue.
