Abstract
- Oscar-winning actress, of 'Rebecca' and 'Suspicion' fame, Joan Fontaine shared a delightful, sprawling, single-roofed redwood-and-shingle structure with her second husband William Dozier on Fordyce Road clinging to a hillside in Brentwood. The couple favored a casual, informal lifestyle and Fontaine filled the house with cozy upholstered sofas and wing chairs, English antiques, oil paintings and books.
