Abstract
- The global warming potential (GWP) of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants may be the next target of federal regulation on the industry, according to Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute VP for Policy and government affairs Joseph McGuire. He told attendees of the Food Marketing Institute's Energy and Technical Services Conference that greater efforts should be made to contain refrigerants lest new restrictions be imposed on the manufacture of HFCs.
